Exactly 3 years ago, my dearest grandfather passed away after a battle against cancer, that lasted for 13 years. Out of respect for him, I decided to wear everything in black. Nothing has ever made such a huge impact on me, as the loss of such a great person to me. He taught me to read and write, helped me with school and told me stories that included wise words. He was probably the most important person in my life and there’s nobody that could ever refill the emptiness he left inside of me. I hope that when I’m older, I can look back at my past and know that he would’ve been proud of me, if he were able to see what I’ve achieved in life. I just want him to be proud of me..
