Hallelujah, it’s been one whole month ago since I last showed you what I was up to and to be honest, I simply wasn’t in the mood of taking the time to update you and still am not quite sure whether I feel like writing an extensive review about it. I’d rather sum it all up and show you the photos, because photos say more than 1.000 words, right? Here we go!

Worked out with 10L of water; Went sailing to the Whitsunday islands; Drove all the way to the top of different mountains to enjoy the view; Finally reached the wet tropics with all of its advantages like the wonderful rainforests but also its disadvantages such as the mosquitos and the heat in the early mornings; Handed out our resumes to every living object with no result; Left our canned soups in a store and bought all four of them again before we found them, so we ended up with 8 cans of soup filling all of the drawers in the campervan; Strolled through every day or night market we could possibly find including the famous Kuranda markets and the night markets in Cairns; Flew from Cairns back to Sydney; I cured my homesickness by buying food and drinks my parents or grandma used to buy for me when I was little such as bubble tea, hello panda cookies, lychee flavoured jellies, bean cakes and such; Visited art galleries filled with amazing works from aboriginals; Drove on a road along the beach; Bought colorbooks out of boredom and started drawing like a 4 year old for days; Watched 2 films at a drive in theatre/open air cinema from the front seats of our van; Went to see the Barron falls; Bought DIY Henna and had it painted on my body; Saw how thousands of bats woke up in the evening and fly away from their trees; Stayed at a motel; Did the Tjapukai experience including self painting your boomerang, make jewellery, learn about the weapons and medicines back in the days and learn how to throw a speer and boomerang; Drunk out of a fresh coconut for the first time in my life; Had a tour guide led us through the Opera house; Took photos with the huge Christmas tree at Marin Place; Went into an enormous snow globe; Walked through the Botanic Gardens; Visited the aquarium; Took photos in a photo booth; Went to the Art Gallery of Sydney; Had lunch and diner from different stands in Chinatown; Travelled by ferry; Experienced Boxing day.
