Dear sunshines, could you’ve guessed I’d come back? Well, here I am back from the dead.  Last time I took the effort to share something with you, I didn’t take the time to write about the changes that’s happen in my life, so a quick sum-up of what I’ve realised/done these past months.

  • I kind of have my cheese addiction under control by now.. kind of
  • I quit my study, but I’m planning to start over in September
  • Discovered that doors are perfect objects to dry your clothes or bed covers on when the drying frame is occupied.
  • I can tell by experience that it definitely is possible to watch all episodes of Designated Survivor in one day
  • Socks walk/fly/run away. I’m not sure about this one yet, but this’ll be continued.. #investigationstarted
  • Bare legs all winter won’t give you the flue, just lots of goose bumps and weird looks
  • I recently applied for a job in restaurant ‘Savage’ and started as waitress, make sure to stop by some time #suchawesomepromo
  • Pasta makes a great mid-night snack or breakfast
  • I’ve learnt not to leave food stains in my clothes until I wash them because the croquette stains won’t get out

When I read the quote I mentioned above, I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it with you. Yesterday I had this very miserable feeling, due to some rejections I had to deal with in the past months. Of course I am aware that there will be many more to come through life, but I simply was not aware that it had to do with taking risks rather than being ‘good’ enough. Sometimes the question isn’t whether you have the capabilities to do something, but whether you get the opportunity to show or convince people what you’re capable of. Sometimes it’s just that little bit of luck that you lack that time of the day, that makes the difference. However, this should not stop you from trying. Take the risk and see where it brings you.
Remember: nothing ventured, nothing gained ;)
