“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”

My life

lishenho, li shen ho, lishen ho“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail” – Benjamin Franklin

I couldn’t agree any more with the quote I mentioned above. It’s the truth and we all know it, though we feel upset whenever we hear that we’ve failed. For some reason, even if you know that your preparation was anything but enough, you keep this small hope up that a miracle might happen. Same thing happened to me a week ago. I didn’t study as much for a science test as I’d usually do and completely blanked out when I saw the asked questions. My results were anything alike to the ones I wanted/needed, which resulted in a very down mood for a while. Luckily, I got the opportunity to get a re-examination, so I’m really determined to prepare well for it. The test is tomorrow, therefore I guess I’ll just shut down my computer and put away my phone for a while, so I can completely focus on studying without any disturbance.
Wish me luck!

First school day

My life

I guess I survived my first day at school (: I was really nervous when I walked into the classroom, since I knew that people would judge me from the very first moment they’d see me. And, on top of that, it’s quite frustrating to be surrounded by people that you know by name and you recognize their face, but aren’t close enough to walk up to them and ask how their summer break was. I already finished my homework for tomorrow, which makes me feel pretty proud about myself to be honest. I wonder for how long I’ll be able to put so much effort into my school work..
A couple days ago, I determined myself to clean my room, which I actually did(!!). I stumbled upon my collection of mascaras, eyeliners and eye pencils, that I nowadays don’t use anymore because of my lash extensions. I never thought I’d tried that many, ever. I guess I were a really curious girl at that time.. or wait, maybe I still am..?
How was your first school day? Or are you still enjoying the summer holidays? And, do you use many make-up products?
